The Sony US18650VTC4 cell is best 18650 battery cells with 30A Max. continuous discharge current. At 10A discharge 500cycles offical capacity rate more then 1400mAh, this is exceptional good cycle life in high power cells.
The Sony VTCx battery is rated 30A discharge max, but in the condition that the cell has outside protection PCB installed to make sure safety issue. For single cell unprotected application there will be some risk there if you go 30A discharge current.
